A KLANG is one of the central constructs of ....well....  KLANG  

It is a triggerable and mutable  'timeline' of hierarchical modulator processes and events. This enables a precise time-based coordination of MiDI->CV and/or MIDI CC/SYSEX modulation signals to be sent to a MODULE or a SYNTH.  Components within a KLANG can themselves trigger other components and Klangs.
